On cooler fall nights, I enjoy inhaling delicious fall fragrances like pumpkin, apples, or cinnamon. However on cool nights that never seem to end, it’s sometimes nice to take in the moods of spring or summer as well. It’s always a nice reminder of what was left behind, and what is to come again.
I scooped up a Honeysuckle scented candle by a candle company called Candle Cottage. This jar candles have always delivered tons of warm fragrance, and I rarely am disappointed in what Candle Cottage has to offer.
I left this candle alone for months, as I do many of my candles, and I only really burn them on cooler nights or days, and this past week we have had nothing but chilly days, and even colder nights. I finally decided to put Honeysuckle to use, and boy was I glad I did.
The candle does not begin to release its scent very quickly which made me nervous, because many Candle Cottage candles deliver the scent almost the moment the wax begins to melt. It took honeysuckle a good 15 minutes before the light and delicate delicious juicy honeysuckle scent began to flood the room. Once it started though it never stopped delivering the delicious aroma of summer and spring blossoms.
The scent of honeysuckle was very obvious, warm, and inviting, while a more potent aroma of gardenia also began to spread throughout the mix.
What our home smelled like was a dazzling flooding of honeysuckle juices and fresh gardenia florals; combined what you have is a summery harvest in your home, and it is fantastic.
What I really love about Candle Cottage candles is how even after the candle is distinguished the scent will continue to linger so long as the windows are not open in your home. When it came to the honeysuckle scents candle, there was no exception. The scent continued to linger for hours even after the wick was blown out.
Honeysuckle is a beautiful candle, capable of delivering a summer kiss to your home that you will truly appreciate even if honeysuckles are not your scent of choice, the lingering hues of gardenia will enchant you.
