Cinnamon scents around the fall season are amongst my top favorite fragrances to add to my home. I am a die hard fan of Febreze Air Effects and know that with each passing season I can expect to find limited edition home fragrances on shelves. I also know that these limited edition Air Effects by Febreze do not last long, as they tend to be very popular among the masses.
This past weekend though I got lucky and snagged 3 Limited Edition Air Effects; within the trio I managed to scoop up a spray can of Cinnamon Sugar & Home. This particular season scent comes in a standard Air Effects can, with the same wispy trigger nozzle that any other Air Effects can would have. Spotting Cinnamon Sugar & Home however is not difficult due to the fall color scheme it has going on. The can is a honey brown color, with a band of dark brown. A photo of a cinnamon roll is spotted right on the front of the can, easily allowing you to see what you should expect when it comes to the scent.
I never spray scents in the store because I find it to be rude, and those around you could have Lupus, and spraying scents in stores could seriously land them a trip to the hospital, so please, for those of you out there who do these scent in store tests, think of others.
At any rate, once home, I got to spraying Cinnamon Sugar & Home, and I have to say I liked it. I was not in love with it, but I liked it well enough. For me however it was too unoriginal, and if you have ever used Glades Country Spice Spray you will know what to expect when it comes to Cinnamon Sugar & Home.
Cinnamon Sugar & Home has the same deep spiced sugary scent, followed by a warmer not of vanilla powder. It is nice, but nothing unique.
Air Effects Cinnamon Sugar & Home does not pack a long lasting fragrance to your home. Most Air Effects are short lived though, mostly I use them for a quick refresher and they work well enough. I however continue to buy them, even knowing that the scent won’t stick around for long, because for me, Febreze Air Effects in general have always been mood enhancers. A quick pick me up, or a quick way to set a mood. Cinnamon Sugar & Home sets in a quick fall mood, and allows me to reminisce on my childhood when scents like these flooded the kitchen at Grandmas house.
It’s a decent scent, nothing fancy, but it smells good, and yes, I would still recommend it even though it is lacking its own unique charm.
