I purchased the single handle modern Kraus Faucet in chrome for my kitchen remodel more than 6 months ago.
What I Paid for the Kraus Single Handle Faucet in Chrome.
Where I purchased the Single Handle Kraus Faucet:
My experience with the Kraus Single handle faucet:
The plumber was able to install the faucet in under 20 minutes.
It leaked almost immediately. The leak was so small that I assumed I was getting the countertop wet when I was washing dishes. Unfortunately for me, it took a few weeks for me to figure out that it was not me but the faucet. The the leak left small quarter sized water stains on my granite countertop that I was able to get out by buffing.
I was able get the replacement part needed to fix the leak from Kraus. They shipped it to me for free in just a few days. Unfortunately, it did not come with directions so I had to ask the plumber how to do it when he was here for another job.
Aside from the leak, the faucet has been holding up pretty nicely. It does wobble a bit inside of its mount to no fault of ours, its just the design. I imagine this faucet will not last more than a few years at best because of its plastic parts. I did not know there were plastic parts until I took the faucet apart. The spray nozzle is plastic but that didn’t bother me, so is my shower head on a very expensive Kohler model.
What I like:
Long and high spout for cleaning all pots and pans no matter how large.
Easy to use.
Made in the USA.
What I don’t like:
Lack of instructions for small repairs.
