In RoundCube, you can create folders for your email. These folders are great for organizing email if you tend to keep a lot of your email. In this guide, I will show you how to create new folders, rename folders, delete folders, and move your email to the folders. You can login to your RoundCube webmail account to get started with this guide.
Creating New Folders in RoundCube Webmail
We will begin this guide with creating new folders in RoundCube. At the top of your page, you will see the Email, Address, and Settings links. Click the Settings link and then click the Folders tab on the following page. This section will show you a list of folders that are already created in your webmail account. To create a new folder, you will need to type the name of the folder you want to create in the field at the bottom of the page. Once you have typed a name for the new folder in the field, click the Create button and the folder will be created. You will see the folder in the list of other folders when the page refreshes.
Renaming Folders in RoundCube Webmail
To rename a folder, you will first need to be on the folder page. Next, find the folder you want to rename and click the Pencil to the left of it. The name of the folder will turn into a box and you can delete the folder’s name and type what you want in the box. Click on an empty space on the page to save the new folder name.
Deleting Folders in RoundCube Webmail
You can delete folders from your account that you no longer need. You will need to be on the folders page to do this. Find the folder you want to remove from your account and click the red circle icon to the left of it. You will be asked if you really want to delete the folder, confirm and it will be deleted.
Moving Email to Folders in RoundCube Webmail
To move email to folders, you will need to be in the email section of your account. On the left side of your email window, you will see the list of folders you have in your account. To move an email to one of the folders, click it with your mouse, hold it, and drag it to the folder in the left panel. Once you have the email on top of the folder, let go of the email and it will be placed in that folder.
