Joe Klein, Time Columnist and best-selling author of “Primary Colors” as well as political non-fiction books, will be speaking at Saint Joseph’s College Brooklyn Campus in Clinton Hill as part of the school’s annual Presidential Lecture series.
The talk is scheduled for October 7th, at 12:30, is free, and is open to the general public.
Mr. Klein has written a number of books about politics as well as a weekly column for Time Magazine covering national as well as international affairs. His first novel, Primary Colors was a no. 1 bestseller and later was adapted into a major motion picture. His latest best-seller, Politics Lost, describes a general failure of US politicians to represent the people.
The Presidential Lecture series aims to further the education of the school community as well as the Brooklyn Community, by hosting distinguished speakers who will challenge the community, thereby reflecting the school’s liberal ideal of “free and open inquiry.”
This lecture should be especially interesting and timely, given current political circumstances, the latest primary election results, and the upcoming mid-term elections.
