This is an award winning brunch at the only five diamond hotel in Salt Lake City. When arriving, you have the option to self park or valet for only $7. It is hard not to stop and look at the entry way of the hotel, it is stunning work of architectural art. Before entering the dining room, staff encourage you to walk through renowned gardens. These gardens have been walked by countless celebrities, foreign dignitaries and even U.S. presidents.
It is all-you-can-eat buffet style brunch available from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and is visited regularly by locals and celebrities alike. While the hotel feeds many guests during the 4 hour brunch time, there is a lot of space between yourself and other parties that you don’t leave feeling anxious and stressed. Many people reserve semi-private alcoves that offer a quieter atmosphere for special family gatherings and get together’s for old friends. The guests range from small young families to large family groups.

Mimi’s Cafe is a chain restaurant without the busy feel. The chain started in 1978 and has grown into a popular meeting place for a variety of age groups. The most prevalent age group is the 50+ age group because of the quiet and welcoming atmosphere. It is nicely decorated with a varied menu in both pricing and selection. They provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections. Some selections are even seasonal creating variety throughout the year.
Mimi’s Cafe is an excellent choice for senior’s on a budget, as the lunch and dinner menu’s include the “Cafe Price Fixed” meals. The price fixed lunch meal is $9.99 and includes your choice of drink, soup/salad, and lunch entree. The price fixed dinner meal is $12.99 and includes your choice of drink, soup/salad, dinner entree, and small dessert.

Bambara at the Monaco Hotel
One of the most well known and exclusive restaurants in Salt Lake City is Bambara, offering unique and original dishes from Chef Nathan Powers. Many seniors and people in general go to Bambara before or after attending a theatrical performance, as it is strategically placed by many top rated performance venues in Salt Lake City.
Bambara offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner selections. The menu is less diverse than the other two restaurant’s featured, however, it features tastes like Duck Fat Roasted Yukon Gold Potatoes and Goat Cheese Gnocchi that can be hard to find other anywhere else.
