In the second world of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, you must traverse through a movie set in order to fight the skateboard-turned-actor (and Ramon’s second ex-boyfriend), Lucas Lee. This guide will help you defeat the second boss in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game.
Before you approach Lucas Lee, make sure you defeat the two paparazzi enemies that appear when you have to destroy a car. Otherwise, they will appear in the boss fight. Their flashing attack is especially annoying considering that you will be stunned for a few seconds. Taking care of the two paparazzi enemies will make Lucas Lee much easier. Moreover, you should also bring a weapon, like a baseball bat lying around in that area, for the second boss fight of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game.
The arena where you fight Lucas Lee is pretty barren with the exception of a traffic cone to the left. However, the skateboarding enemy will leave their skateboards around the ground once you managed to knock them down.
As for the actual fight, Lucas Lee himself is pretty harmless as you can block all of his punches even if he is attacking with a skateboard in his hand. The boss battle will get interesting, however, once his skateboarding friends show up. Fortunately, you can also block their charging attack. Use a dash attack to know them off of their skateboard. Afterwards, defeat them as soon as possible before they can pick up their skateboard again. Better yet, pick up the unoccupied skateboard and turn it against them.
Doing so will also prevent Lucas Lee from also getting the skateboard. The opportunist will zigzag his way across the screen with it if he gets his hands on one. Unlike the regular enemies, you can’t block his charges. Furthermore, you can’t knock him off either. Instead, do a sidestep when you see him skating towards you. When he gets off his skateboard, knock him on the ground with your rush attack to destroy the skateboard he is holding.
Without his skateboard, Lucas Lee won’t pose much of a threat as long as you clear his skateboarding friends out quickly when they appear. As long as you keeping blocking and pick your spots to attack, you should be fine in this boss battle.
Congratulations on defeating the second boss in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game.
