Senior Memories of Life before Today’s Technology
I am happy to express my memories of life, before today’s technology. Undoubtedly they are sweet and there was an aspiration to live and a goal to reach. The social bondages were strong and log lasting. The work environment was unpolluted and risk free. The relations between employee and employer are clear and responsibilities and protocols well defined. No greed to earn more for a living since commodities and living requirements are low priced. Fear of technological weapons is limited and people use to live in peace
Technology is essential for global image and for country’s progress. Technology is associated with prosperity, money, stress, anxiety, greed and the humans are becoming a victim to this vicious web. As long as technology is a desire to discover and invent it is exciting. Technology is undoubtedly improving the quality of life but at what cost? No wonder the world will soon see humans living on energy tab and go into the control of Robots. Whichever part of the human body or any animal’s physical body does not have work it perishes. The present generation is physically inferior to our ancestors. In future we may look like align.
Technology and advancements are encroaching green land and the greenery is disappearing. The technological pollution is causing more and more health hazards. I remember our ancestors were more hale and healthy than my generation and the future generation is a question to be answered?
The present day human being is in a great confusion in choosing happy life verses monotonous hype life. With all this technological advancement where are we are heading? What is it we have achieved? Do we enjoy a peaceful night? Do we have our own private time to spend with our family? Do we have a healthy sex relation with our partners? Are we leading a happy, peaceful life?
In the Easter years there was a growth plan for an employee? The employer used to calculate the number of years the employee has to contribute to the company and decide his emoluments accordingly. With this structure there is always a target for the employee to reach. A target is always a positive sign, a motivation to work. In today’s scenario at the youngest age the human is enjoying all physical and social facilities thus left with noting for future? No targets, no aspiration, no future goals and thus frustration.. Today’s technology is making humans as robots and perhaps may make humans as robots.
I am not against technology but afraid of unhealthy technology. If technology steals your private life, I feel it is unhealthy.
