Did you know that cinnamon is an aphrodisiac that attracts men? That spice can be your little secret if you use correctly. I even made an oil perfume in the Modern Courtesan by YS line, Honeymoon Heat, with a cinnamon note because it is that sensual it stirs things up.
Since it is autumn it is a fine time to pull out your cinnamon and make a little pumpkin bread. It should also be noted that pumpkin is packed with aphrodisiac nutrients. Around the world pumpkin was eaten to treat low libido. The scent increases penile flow 40% (yes!). The Hopi culture believes that pumpkin blossoms are a symbol of things being fertile. Need I say more? Let’s just say…bring on the pumpkin.
Here’s a great recipe for pumpkin bread. Always great warmed up with a little butter, cream cheese or something else spreadable and fun.
Sensual Spice Pumpkin Bread
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 16-ounce can solid pack pumpkin
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Preheat oven to 350°F. Butter and flour two 9x5x3-inch loaf pans. Beat sugar and oil in large bowl to blend. Mix in eggs and pumpkin. Sift flour, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, salt and baking powder into another large bowl. Stir into pumpkin mixture in 2 additions.
Equally divide batter between prepared pans. Bake until about 1 hour 10- 15 minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack and cool for about 10 minutes. Using a knife, cut around edge of loaves. Turn loaves out onto cooling rack and let it cool completely.
