Support the local arts at the Urban Street Bazaar on Oct. 2 and 3 in the Bishop Arts District, just south of downtown Dallas.
The Bazaar will boast dozens of local designers, craftsmen, artists and musicians from noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Vendors will be on hand to show off and sell their handmade designs, crafts, jewelry, art, clothing and more. Local acoustic musicians will set the scene for a relaxing day of shopping.
Organized by Make Studio, a do-it-yourself craft and sewing boutique in Bishop Arts, the Urban Street Bazaar has been around since 2006. The event is free, open to the public and dog-friendly.
The Street Bazaar allows local crafters an opportunity to display their latest works, while giving shoppers the chance to purchase one-of-a-kind handcrafted creations.
If you head out, be sure to watch the parking signs carefully; towing is strictly enforced.
Make Studio, in the heart of the Bishop Arts District, is located at 313 N. Bishop Ave. in Dallas. For more information, visit UrbanStreetBazaar.com.
