Good news, Fort Greene! Six new businesses are opening on one avenue, Myrtle Avenue, according to Myrtle Minutes.
Many people have been working on the revitalization of Myrtle Avenue including the members of Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Partnership, Myrtle Avenue Revitalization Project LDC, and the Myrtle Avenue Brooklyn Business Improvement District.
The addition of these six new businesses is an asset to the overall goal.

Brooklyn Stone Boutique, 366 Myrtle Avenue between Adelphi and Clermont: Shop for affordable luxury and exotic items at this new boutique. It’s been open for a few weeks, but the grand opening celebration is Friday, October 15th (4-6pm) and Saturday, October 16th (2-6pm).
Salads, Soups, Etc., 507 Myrtle Avenue, between Ryerson & Grand: Enjoy fresh and affordable salads, soups, sandwiches and drinks.
Bechamel, 441 Myrtle Avenue, corner of Waverly Bechamel: Delicious Polish dishes await you.
The Emerson Bar, 561 Myrtle Avenue, between Emerson & Classon: Relax, chill out, have an innovative cocktail or beer, shoot a little pool and more at the Emerson.
Cake Joy, 364 Myrtle Avenue, between Adelphi & Carlton: A combination bakery and lounge where you can have your cake and eat it, too.
(Pub and Restaurant), 419 Myrtle Avenue, corner of Clinton Avenue: Have a unique dining experience in a vintage atmosphere reminiscent of the old New York.
