Do you love the menu at The Front Porch in Southern Mission? Who doesn’t! Whether you are in love with the chicken and waffles, the vegan plate, or the pecan crusted catfish, The Front Porch is the comfort of comfort food. The only disappointing aspect of this cute Southern eatery is that they do not serve brunch. Well, they used to not serve brunch. Starting Saturday, October 16th, The Front Porch is switchin’ it up and serving brunch on the weekends from 10a.m. until 2:30p.m..
Mission residents can now enjoy a delightful Southern brunch on the weekends. The chef will be cookin’ it fresh to order with local produce as always. Some of the highlights of the brunch menu are biscuits and country gravy, baked eggs with wild mushrooms, spinach, and grits, as well as, huevos rancheros. The restaurant will still serve its lunch menu during brunch and invites its patrons to stop by and pick up an event calendar which will detail the special menu events that are approaching for the holidays.
For newcomers, the The Front Porch is located on 29th Street between Mission St and San Jose Ave).
