Former MTV Hills stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag may have called off their divorce, but what’s next for this fame-seeking couple?
According to US Magazine, Pratt and Montag announced their reconciliation at a photo shoot last week. Montag filed divorce papers last summer but the two were spotted together in Coast Rica last month- even after Pratt threatened to release a sex tape of his wife.
According to People, the couple also said, “We are back together trying to make things work….Costa Rica really put things in perspective. We do love each other and realized we do want to spend the rest of our lives together.”
But many Hills fans as well as sources close to the couple never bought the divorce talk to begin with. While Pratt and Montag sometimes engaged in a full-on Twitter war, Montag’s talk of a single girl reality show with BFF Jen Bunney never came to fruition.
Meanwhile the formerly flesh-colored bearded Pratt (thank goodness he shaved!) exhibited some bizarre behavior when he stalked ‘The Hills’ finale after party in Hollywood last July.
For this couple, fame has always been the name of the game. So with the divorce officially called off, what will they do next to keep their names in the spotlight?
Montag has filmed a cameo for the upcoming Jennifer Aniston -Adam Sandler flick Just Go With It. And Pratt recently released a trailer for his frat boy geared new film, Tower 69: Malibu Beach Patrol. Let’s just say it ain’t Frankie and Annette in this beach movie!
But could a new reality show be in the works for Speidi? The two may have burned their bridges over at MTV after
Pratt was allegedly kicked off of The Hills set last spring for threatening a show producer. And Montag’s on again off again sexual harassment lawsuit against Hills producer Adam DiVello is officially on.
Last month Montag tweeted “Sheridan granted by Judge to sue creator DHW! YES! This means my sexual assault suit against Hills creator Adam Devilo [sic] will also go to court”.
Montag also tweeted, “My team has informed me that my suit against Adam Devillo [sic] is for Sexual Battery not Sexual assault. Major difference is assault is verbal…”
So while it is unlikely that MTV will be welcoming Speidi back any time soon, there are plenty of other networks in cableland. And with their reconciliation in full swing, these lovebirds may just be ready for a baby.
Could you imagine a new reality show called Spencer and Heidi: Maybe Baby? Peter Brady did it, after all!
