Did ya hear the news? by Annamarie
Are you sure you are ready to marry?
We will share forever-fairly
Are you Soaring like spring wind
We are twirling like spring breeze
Is your heart Fluttering like butterflies?
We are fluttering with safe comfort like Shoo-Fly pies
Are you just giddy with hormones or planted in the soil?
We are strong together as an old oak tree and need no oil.
How do you know its love not just lust?
We have conquered the dandelions
Will you stay the distance no matter what?
We are strong as Kentucky bluegrass and will share the weeds one day at a time.
Will you help us plan by rhythm and rhyme?
Oh yes, Your wedding theme shall be Springtime.
What shall we have for our Springtime wedding
Daffodils, Tulips, Ribbons, and Doves.
Who shall we invite? Where shall it be? What decorations and food?
Invite loved ones to your grandmother’s spring garden
Her garden has spring fountains, sweet music, ballooning flowers and delightful arches
The questions above are ones my Father asked me about my wedding. My Dad also taught me to read Mark Twain to learn of real life. My Mom taught me to live life by the rhythm of my own music. I have admired Mr. Mark’s Twain’s genius since my Father taught me to read. Mr. Twain’s writings helped me get through good and bad times.
Below is one of my favorite poem’s of Mr. Twain’s published on “Quotations from the Garden” for the past 5 years or so.
” It’s spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you’ve got it, you want – oh, you don’t quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so! ~Mark Twain. Published on Quotations of Spring on-line; Quotations from the Garden
