Johannesburg-based professional wrestler, Jerome Midoux, grew up with wrestling in his blood as the son of South African wrestling legend, Terri Midoux, who instilled a passion for wrestling in Jerome at a young age, and to whom he credits his prodigious talent. Born in France and raised in South Africa, he has been in the squared circle since the day he was born, first entering the ring to practice with his father at the age of six. Midoux began his formal training with WWP in 2008 and began training at The Ananzi Pro-Wrestling Academy in Johannesburg in 2008; he has been trained by many South African legends including: Kobus Erasmus (Ananzi), Tornado, Jason Steele, PJ Black (now Justin Gabriel with WWE), and his father, Terri Midoux. “The Ultimate Teen, The Teen Supreme, The Club Sensation, ‘Zizou Middoux'” became the youngest wrestler in the world when he signed a contract with South Africa’s WWP at the age of 14 and now, at the age of 18, is the youngest superstar in the world to have a championship belt. Zizou’s reputation is that of ladies’ man and club sensation, always seen with a lady on his arm and coming out tops in major international freestyle dancing competitions. Zizou’s distinctive fighting style, ranging from high-flying to hardcore has appeared on the last four seasons of WWP Thunderstrike and the last two seasons of 100% De Dhana Dhan. As a second generation superstar, he and his father, Terri Midoux, are known as “The French Connection” and have held the WWP World Tag Team Championship belts since September of 2009.
