Wednesday night on CBS’ Survivor: Nicaragua, the Libertad tribe- especially Purple Kelly- was left to pick up the pieces after the surprising elimination of Brenda.
Meanwhile, Nay whines that she is cold after some heavy rains (she’s anemic and her joints hurt) and she even gives Chase her immunity idol because he says she plans to leave.
Holly is talking Top 4: she wants Sash, Chase and Jane to join her. Problem is, Sash trusts Purple Kelly and Nay way more than he trusts Holly or any of the others.
It’s time to compete for a trip to Survivor Cinema. The tribe is divided into two teams. Each team has a stuffed 8 foot dummy that they must carry through an obstacle course while they are tethered. The first team to cross the finish line wins.
The booty is a premiere screening of the new Jack Black flick, “Gulliver’s Travels” along with a feast of nachos, hotdogs, popcorn and all the candy they can eat. For these starvin’ Marvin’s, that’s a feast fit for a king.
The teams are:
Yellow: Fabio, Kelly Sasha , Jane
Blue: Holy, Nay, Chase, Benry
Dan sits out, but if the Blue team wins, he does too.
After a mostly neck in neck challenge, Blue does indeed win. Dan gets the reward without putting out any effort. He may be the smartest player in this game because he barely ever breaks a sweat.
Holly is so ecstatic she’s crying. All she wants is a hotdog- she can’t wait!
Meanwhile, both Nay and Kelly announce that today will be their last day on “Survivor”. Host Jeff Probst is stunned and gives them both the afternoon to think it over.
Next he throws a wrench in Holly’s plans, saying that if one of the winning team members forfeits their movie prize, the entire tribe gets a new tarp and enough rice for the remaining 11 days of camp.
Nay- who claims she is leaving the show- doesn’t budge. Holly offers to give up her beloved hotdogs, but not without giving Nay the evil eye.
Later at tribal, with the Blue team’s bellies all nice and satisfied, Nay boasts that she could win this game. She touts her drive, attitude, spunk and charm. And then she quits.
Kelly follows suit- minus the bragging.
And now it’s down to 7….
