Wednesday night on CBS’ Survivor: Nicaragua, the Espada and La Flor tribes battled in a messy immunity challenge. And tensions rose as the young La Flor tribe became greatly divided. So who went home on week 2 of Survivor: Nicarauga?
First up, La Flor tribe member Sash tells Naonka that he’d like to bring the minorities to the end. She likes that idea, so they agree to it and he adds that he wants to add “Asian sensation” Brenda down the road.
Meanwhile, the older Espada tribe experiences some elementary school hijinks when Holly overhears some of the guys talking about her and calling her “crazy”. In retaliation, she fills Dan’s expensive shoes with sand and tosses them in the water.
When Dan discovers his $1600 alligator shoes are missing, she confesses to the crime. But Dan is not too quick to forgive her.
Meanwhile Jimmy Johnson puts on his coach’s hat and encourages Holly to hang in there and give the game her all.
In a battle for immunity this week, the tribes must crawl through mud and search for balls in a haystack. They must then flip the balls into a barrel. The Espada tribe decides to use last week’s Medallion of Power to give themselves a head start in the challenge. It pays off when Espada wins immunity and get a bonus reward: fishing gear.
They later find a clue to the hidden immunity idol hidden in the fishing gear. Jill figures out the clue and tells Marty. The two find the immunity idol. Ssshhh…..
Next up, the scheming begins as La Flor try to decide who to vote out. Shannon and the guys want Brenda out, but Chase is torn- he’ s been close to Brenda the entire game. Meanwhile the girls ponder getting rid of Jud/Jude/Fabio.
Host Jeff Probst starts off by asking Shannon about the challenges of the game and a can of worms is opened. Shannon calls Chase out for being in cahoots with his “girlfriend” Brenda and Chase admits he’s between two alliances.
Next Shannon continues his rampage by asking Sash if he’s gay and saying, “New York is full of gay people.” The rest of the tribe sit in shocked silence.
Jud pipes in that they’re all on the same team and Probst tells him, “Fabio, get your head out of the trees!”
Noanka tells Fabio she doesn’t like him. Talk about a lot of trash talk in a span of a few minutes! La Flor is clearly a tribe divided.
In the end, Shannon is voted out. Let’s hope he takes some of that negative energy with him.
