This year make some unique drinks for your guests attending your Thanksgiving Day dinner, but also offer up some traditional punch favorites. Check out these three drink recipes, which I serve at every Thanksgiving feast and all are a big hit.
Flaming Pumpkin Pie Drink
I found this drink on Idrink.com and used it a festival not long ago. It is simple and a great new drink experience for adults. For more Idrink.com recipes click here.
1 tsp. Cinnamon
1 part Kahlua Coffee Liquer
1 part Bailey’s Irish Cream
Splash of Goldschlaugger Peppermint Schnapps
Pour Kahlua in glass and top with Bailey’s. Add a splash of Goldschlaugger. Light drink and shake cinnamon over it. Blow drink flames out and enjoy!
Traditional Holiday Punch
This is a traditional favorite that we have used in my family at almost every family gathering.
Can frozen orange juice
Can frozen strawberry juice
Can frozen pineapple juice
Mix all ingredients together (no need to thaw juices) in a large punch bowl. Add scoops of sherbert and ice. You can make more simply by adding multiple amounts of each ingredient. For garnishes you can place pineapple and orange slices or strawberries on toothpicks and place on plate next to punch bowl.
Fruity ToastThis is a simple one. All you need to do is take pomegranate seeds and place them in the bottom of champagne glasses. Top seeds off with sparkling cider or champagne and toast everyone.
