Said the chicken to the turkey,
On that cold November day,
You better run and find a place,
That’s very safe to stay.
“Why should I ?,” said the turkey,
For I’m the farmers pet,
I’ve been pampered, fed and coddled,
Said the chicken, “Wanna Bet?”
They’ll pluck you and they’ll stew you,
They’ll put you in a pot,
And serve you with some stuffing,
Or perhaps a Tator Tot.
The turkey then began to see,
The chickens point of view,
He ran and hid behind the coop
Close to the outhouse Loo.
Thanksgiving came, and then it went,
The turkey sighed in glee.
He went back home to thank the chick,
The coop was as calm as could be.
“News Alert”, said the smiling chicken,
“Dude, we’re in L.A.”
Where PETA rocks and all they did,
Was eat salad twice a day.
Moral of this story: All turkeys should reside with vegetarians and/or members of Peta during the Thanksgiving holiday!
