The 2010 VMAs pre-show, hosted by Sway Calloway, Tim Kash, and others, was a beautiful event. Held in Los Angeles, the MTV Video Music Awards pre-show included not only a white carpet, but stars dressed in black and white.
A white carpet at the 2010 VMAs proved to be a smart touch
The 2010 VMAs pre-show dazzled with warm weather, celebrities, a public lucky enough to get up close, and a white carpet that was more interesting than the Oscar’s red carpet.
Various stars were interviewed, dressed in black, or variations thereof, such as a Justin Bieber, looking more grown up than usual. The red headed Evan Rachel Wood was there, along with True Blood‘s Joe Manganiello, looking sexy in black and burgundy blood red leather jacket. Kesha wore a homemade dress made out of black garbage bags. She said she got the garbage bags from Home Depot. Finally, it was Lady Gaga in a long gold and burgundy dress, with a gold headdress, designed by Alexander McQueen. Standing next to her were soldiers who left the army, or who were released from the army, for being gay. “No one person is more valuable than another person,” said Lady Gaga.
There were also performers at the 2010 VMAs pre-show, awards and a film clip
Nicki Minaj, who has an album titled Pink Friday due out on November 23, 2010, was one of the most thrilling entertainers since Lady Gaga in pink and turquoise latex and a pink wig, joined with will.i.am of Black Eyed Peas who was dressed in head to toe black latex. Fans of BDSM clothing would approve.
You can win an award at the 2010 VMAs pre-show as well as the actual award show. Lady Gaga won Best Dance Video and Best Collaboration. There was a film clip exclusive that gave you a bit of what Kanye West is to perform at the actual award show.
