“The Bachelor” Season 15’s Brad Womack has made it clear that he is ready to find a wife. But with a cast that includes several women who are more than a decade younger than him, are these young ladies ready to find a husband?
And according to “Bachelor” blogger Reality Steve, the leaked contestants for “The Bachelor” season 15 includes one lady with a major back story.
But first, here’s the scoop on 5 other “Bachelor” contestants, courtesy of Reality Steve and his sources.
First off, let’s start by saying these women are pretty. Reality Steve dug up photos of most of them, and ABC isn’t taking any chances with Average Janes here. The women are stunning, making it even easier for Brad Womack to find his Cinderella.
The contestants that Reality Steve has uncovered thus far include:
Lindsay Hill – age 25 – Elementary school teacher from Plano , TX
Ashley Spivey – age 25 – Nanny from New York City
Jill Ruskowski – age 28 – Membership director at Country Club in McKinney TX; volleyball player. Kimberly Coon – Marketing coordinator from North Carolina; 2009 Carolina Panther cheerleader
Jackie Gordon – Special needs teacher and artist from Rhode Island
Then there’s 24 year old Emily Maynard, mother of 5 year old daughter and the former fiancée of the late NASCAR driver, Ricky Hendrick.
You may remember the tragic story of the Hendrick Motor Sports plane crash back in 2004. In that crash, 10 Hendrick Motor Sports associates, including 24 year old Ricky Hendrick, were killed. At the time of his death, Ricky Hendrick was engaged to Maynard, who unbeknownst to him was pregnant with his child. Maynard gave birth to the baby girl, Ricki, in June, 2005.
According to Nascar News Now, the birth of the baby was a much-welcomed bright spot during a very dark time for the Hendrick family.
Hendrick’s father, NASCAR team owner Rick Hendrick, said, “Emily came over to the house the night after the memorial service and told us she was pregnant…..At the lowest time of our life, it was like a miracle that happened for us because we get a chance to have a piece of Ricky left…..When she told us, it was hard to even believe. It was like God had given us back something. We had lost so much.”
Needless to say, “Bachelor” fans are going to eat this storyline up. And it may draw some of the NASCAR crowd – or at least a few gapers- to “The Bachelor” as well.
Meanwhile, Brad Womack turns 38 next month. And with this very large age gap between Womack and his first batch of lady loves, the question remains: will they be as ready for love as he is?
Let’s just hope they didn’t assume they were signing up to woo Ali Fedotowsky reject Chris Lambton when they filled out their “Bachelor” apps!
“The Bachelor” Season 15 premieres on January 5, 2011 on ABC.
