The first time I took my kids to Zeum, they were instantly at play. It was as if I did not even have to tell them what to do here. Along with a children’s museum, Zeum features a bowling alley with colorful bowling lanes and small bowling balls that can snugly fit toddler fingers.
The prices are reasonable between $20 – $30 per lane per hour along with shoe rental. We ended up playing more games between a large group for a couple of hours. The hours are open pretty late from 10 am – 10pm till Thursday and until midnight on Friday and Saturday. The Zeum is great because right nearby are the children’s shops, restaurants, carousel, and a great park so you can take your kids to spend the whole day there if they get done with bowling. You will also have to find and pay for parking as Zeum is right near downtown at the Masconi Center. Most public transports and buses have a stop at this location, so you do not have to take your car.
In comparison to the Presidio Bowling Center and AMF Bowling Centers which are open until 2am on all days. Both have the same number of lanes. The Strike in Cupertino has over 25 lanes and a larger snack bar. The Strike rates are about $17 for each half-hour. The Presidio and AMF Centers are also a little bit cheaper as the prices range from $5.25 during daytime up to $8.25 evenings per person per game, though these tend to attract more adult crowds. The AMF Center has a snack/concessions stand along with musical accompaniments at the midnight hour and special group discounts. If you and your friends are fans of bowling AMF centers can also host special events .
For a fun filled night of bowling, you can take your friends and stay out late night at one of the AMF Centers or The Presidio. For taking your kids out on a fun-filled day, be sure to check out Zeum Bowling Center, where kids of all ages are bowling .
