*Warning- Spoiler’s Ahead*
This week was the episode everyone has been waiting for on The Biggest Loser; Makeover Week! It’s a fun and exciting time for the remaining Biggest Loser contestants who get a new look to go along with their new weight loss and lifestyle changes.
The makeover show is always well anticipated by the fans at home as well but this season I was disappointed that they rushed through the transformation process. I was happy to see the Ford Warriors in Pink Fashion Show but I miss seeing more about how celebrity stylist, Ken Paves, transformed the contestants to their new looks.
At the fashion show, the seven remaining contestants revealed their new looks and were also able to see visiting family members and loved ones which always seem to give the contestants rejuvenation when they get back to it.
This season’s theme is all about paying it forward and in the reward challenge this week, two contestants gave up a lead and a new car to help out another contestant who needed the prize more than them.
So how would the fun of makeover week affect the weigh-in? It’s getting down to the nitty-gritty, as they say, and makeover week is notorious for causing lower numbers lost on the scales. This week, two people will fall below the yellow line and one will go home, leaving the final 6 for Biggest Loser 10.
Patrick was sitting at 99 pounds lost since he joined the show. He finally pushed through the 100 pounds lost with a weekly weight loss of 10 pounds, bringing him down to 291 pounds. He’s officially below 300 pounds, smaller than he was when he first met his wife.
Elizabeth finally dropped to the 100s, bringing her 201 down to 196. Ada needed 4 to keep her safe and she lost 5 pounds this week, bringing her total to 73 pounds since she started the competition. Mark lost 10 pounds to bring himself under 300 pounds at 299 and making 122 pounds lost since he began the competition.
Lisa bombed it this week with a big fat goose egg on the scale. Frado needed to lose 6 pounds to push Elizabeth below the yellow line with Lisa making the bottom two this week Lisa and Frado. Frado was confident his “alliance” and friendships would keep him in the house. His pull was strong because the votes went for Lisa but she’s taking strong lessons home with her and plans to continue her journey there and see them all again at the finale.
Next week two people will go home, bringing it down to the final four. Do you have any predictions on who it will be?
