There were five stars left and the dancing got harder. This week the dancers had to dance what was what was called “The Instant Dance.”
This dance put a whole new level of stress on the dancers. Here are the rules of the “Instant Dance.”
Each dance couple knew what type of dance they would be dancing. What they didn’t know was the song they would have. This means that they could have been practicing a dance routine all week that would be too slow or too fast for the song they get.
Len stated that this new competition was more like real ballroom dance competitions. In real dance competitions, the dancers never know what type of music they may have.
How did the dancers perform and who led the leader board after each dancer completed the Instant Dance?
Coming into the competition Kyle had a score of 27. He picked the song “Good Golly Miss Molly” as his Instant Dance song. His Instant Dance score was 29. This gave him a total score of: 56.
Jennifer was next up and she scored a score of 27 with her individual dance, despite an injury to the ligament of her knee that almost cause to her leave the competition. She then picked the song “Waiting For A Girl Like You” as her Instant Dance song. Her Instant Dance score was a perfect 30. This gave her a total score of 58.
Kurt was the third one up to dance and he scored a 24 for his individual dance. He then picked the song “Hella Good” for his Instant Dance song. His Instant Dance score was 24. This gave him a total score of 48.
Bristol was the fourth one up to dance and she scored a 24 for her individual dance. She then picked the song “Mas Que Cada” for her Instant Dance song. Her Instant Dance score was 23. This gave her a total score of 47.
Finally, Brandy was the fifth dancer to dance and she scored a 29 for her individual dance. She then picked the song “Teenage Dream” for her Instant Dance song. Her Instant Dance score was 28. This gave her a total score of 57.
This meant that at the end of the night Jennifer Gray and Brandy Norwood tied for the top spot on the leader board, once again. Does this mean that that Jennifer and Brandy are safe from elimination?
It is up to the voters now.
The next “Dancing With The Stars” will be their elimination show tomorrow night, Tuesday, November 9th, at 9 pm, ET on ABC.
