“Supernatural” is a show about two brothers that go around fighting supernatural creatures. They have come up against everything from vampires, werewolves, and even battle angels. Sam and Dean Winchester cope with their bizarre life with a sense of humor the leaves you laughing all the way through the episodes.
“This is the dumbest thing you have ever done” Season 2
Sam and Dean find a town where everyone is finding a demonic virus that makes everyone killers. The virus has made its way through most of the townspeople through the blood. Dean is fine with killing the infected population until Sam is infected. Dean refuses to let anyone do any harm to Sam. He gives the keys to his precious car to the other survivors and tells them to leave. Dean decides to stay with Sam so that they can both die together. Sam tells Dean “This is the dumbest thing you have ever done”. Dean says, “I don’t know about that, there was this one chick in Tampa”. This is one great example of the adult humor in this series that really gets you laughing out loud even during hard scenes.
“A worse Hell” Season 3
The Winchester boys have dealt with vampires. In Season 3, one vampire by the name of Dixon confides in Dean that he was about to spend all of eternity alone. He then asks Dean if he could “think of a worse hell.” Dean replies with a simple statement, “Well, there is Hell.” This is more brilliant because the watcher knows in just short time Dean himself will be going to Hell.
“I shot the sheriff” season 3
Dan and Sam are thrown into a jail cell awaiting shipment to a maximum-security person. However, many of the authorities are possessed by demons. Sam successfully exorcised the demon from one Deputy, but does not have time before a FBI agent gets the chance to shoot the sheriff. The agent is torn up by the idea of shooting the sheriff. He says, “I shot the sheriff”. Dean comes to the rescue with his own line “but you didn’t shoot the deputy”.
“Douchebaggery” Season 4
Sam and Dean are around to help a group of musician discover how one of their own is escaping tricks that would kill anyone else. During the episode Chris Angel guest stars. Sam tries to explain what Chris Angel is famous for, and this is the response we get from Dean. The episode is cleverly named “Chris Angel is a douche bag”. From this moment on, douche bag becomes one of Dean’s favorite words.
“Pudding” Season 5
Nothing is funnier then a ‘crazy’ patients dropping their pants, shaking their unmentionable parts and yelling “Pudding”. This is exactly what happens in this episode. Dean and Sam go uncover able in a psychos ward to help ward off supernatural happenings. When this scene happens, they are caught wondering around in an area they are not suppose to be in. With Dean’s quick wit to same them, Dean and Sam are free to keep fighting on.
