Rumor has it that WWE is in talks with USA to bring back the WWE Tough Enough series. Tough Enough was a reality tv show that aired on MTV. The show was simple, take people who want to become WWE superstars and train them. The winners of the show would receive a WWE contract. The winners of each season are listed below.
Season 1 Winners:
Season 2 Winners:
Season 3 Winners:
John Hennigan (John Morrison on Raw)
Season 4 Winner (This season did not air on MTV):
Most of the winners are gone from WWE, John Morrison is the only one remaining. With six out of the seven winners no longer with the company is it a good idea to bring back the Tough Enough series? Yes, just because an up and coming wrestler is not declared the winner, it does not mean we will never see them again. Other stars that appeared on Tough Enough did make it to the WWE. Some familiar names are The Miz, The Boogeyman, Mitch (former member of the Spirit Squad), and Skip Sheffield (former member of Nexus). The only thing stopping Tough Enough from doing well are the ratings.
The fans must have gotten bored with Tough Enough and stopped watching, otherwise it should still be running today. MTV has had countless seasons of the Real World and challenge shows featuring former cast members, but why not Tough Enough?
