The Ultimate Fighter season 12 episode three begins with Bruce Lee-Roy taking a victory lap through the house. His housemates are not happy about Bruce Lee-Roy and his gloating. They decide to talk about him. Jeffrey goes too far and says Spencer should have stabbed Bruce Lee-Roy in the eye.
You go from the house to the two training sessions. Both sessions are kind of boring. Georges St-Pierre brings in Gia Sissaouri to help his team with their wrestling. Josh Koscheck complains to his team about how they are lazy in their training and it shows in their fights. The man does not like to lose.
Georges St-Pierre still has the pick and he picks his number one fighter Michael Johnson to take on Josh Koscheck’s 6th pick Aaron Wilkinson. This is a great matchup for Georges St-Pierre. I am amazed at how smart Georges St-Pierre. He wants to win and he puts his team in the best situations to win their fights. Mike Tyson makes a surprise show on the Ultimate Fighter 12 episode three to encourage Georges St-Pierre’s fighters. Mike Tyson is a little odd, but the fighters are still happy to see him. Both fighters make weight and are ready to fight.
Michael Johnson vs. Aaron Wilkinson
Round One-Michael Johnson controls the first half of the round. He shows why he is Georges St-Pierre’s number one fighter. Aaron Wilkinson surprised everybody by dominating the second half of round one. He takes Michael Johnson down and lands hard elbows to his face. Aaron Wilkinson may have taken round one with his performance.
Round Two-Johnson came out strong again in the second round. He did all he could to knockout Aaron Wilkinson. Johnson gases near the end of the round and Aaron Wilkinson takes over once again. Johnson may have done enough to win round two. The judges get together and call the fight a draw. The two fighters will go to a third round to see who the victor will be.
Round Three-Michael Johnson comes out for the third round with purpose. He wants this fight bad. He swings at Aaron Wilkinson with wild punches and knocks him down to the mat. Michael Johnson throws powerful hammer fists at Wilkinson. He gets Wilkinson’s back and quickly submits him with a rear-naked choke. Michael Johnson wins the fight with the submission.
The Ultimate Fighter season twelve episode three was a complete surprise. Michael Johnson won, but the fight was closer than anybody thought it would be. Aaron Wilkinson may have won himself a chance in the Wild Card. Regardless, neither Georges St-Pierre or Josh Koscheck realized Wilkinson was this tough when they picked their fighters.
The Ultimate Fighter Season twelve episode three was okay. Mike Tyson was an odd addition to the show. He doesn’t have great screen presence. He looks out of place whenever he is on television. The fight was better than expected. Aaron Wilkinson showed us he was better than we thought. Michael Johnson showed us he was not as great a fighter as Georges St-Pierre believed he was. He needs to learn more in the gym before he takes his fight game to the UFC. Don’t forget to check out the Ultimate Fighter season twelve every Wednesday night on Spike TV. Josh Koscheck will not be happy if his team continues to lose to his nemesis Georges St-Pierre.
