The Walking Dead Episode 3 isn’t online, just like last week’s outing. Finding The Walking Dead Episode 3 online stands to be hard, but a lot of people are bound to do it. In many ways, the early success of this show has taken AMC by surprise. The network has two award-winning dramas, but they don’t generally have high ratings. Already this is their highest-rated series ever, but they can’t enjoy it for long this year. Whether one watches The Walking Dead online or on TV, they’ll only have three more episodes to watch in 2010.
Warning: Spoilers follow
The first season is only six episodes long, making it more like an extended miniseries. AMC did the same with Breaking Bad‘s first year, then made sure that Seasons 2 and 3 were at a normal, 13-hour length. Already, this series has been awarded 13 shows for Season 2 – which is now not that far off.
With Episode 3, the first season is actually halfway over. If this was a 13-episode season, they might have waited a bit longer to have Rick Grimes reunite with his wife, son and best friend in their survivors’ camp. But as it is, Rick found his way back to them – then just as quickly left them behind again.
In spite of the reunions, the camp’s leas- popular member is still missing, as bullying Merle Dixon is still locked up on a roof. Therefore, the camp’s second-least-popular member – Merle’s brother – is none too happy to hear about it. For that reason, and for a few others, Rick puts together a return trip to zombie-infested Atlanta.
Those who could watch The Walking Dead online, or on TV, may have noticed a relative lack of zombies this time. Only two scenes in the entire hour had “walkers” involved, as the show tested its strength in other areas.
Although this is a show about zombies, the humans are still an important part of it. Therefore, much of this outing was set on the survivors’ camp, the uneasy reunions, and other growing conflicts. Even though there aren’t many people left in this decimated world, it doesn’t mean they are all united together. In fact, the Dixons aren’t the only troublemakers that Shane has to keep in line.
There are only a few humans left, yet true humanity is still difficult to attain. Rick made a decided effort to keep his in Episode 3, but how much will that cost him – and the entire camp – as a result?
Fans have a week to try to find The Walking Dead Episode 3 online and On Demand before the action ramps up again in Atlanta next week.
