The dark roots on Maggie’s head nearly turned their natural color when Victor grabbed her and told her that he was alive and that the poison that she thought she had given him had been switched. She was shocked to find that her planned had been discovered and even more shocked when Ronan and Heather appeared. Her always pale skin seemed as though a vampire had drained all of the blood from her body when Murphy was rolled into the room in his wheelchair. Victor told Maggie that Murphy alerted him to her plan and told him that she had married and murdered his son the same way she had planned to kill Victor. Victor in his usual condescending tone told Maggie that he loved Nikki and how dare she think that he would ever leave Nikki for her. He also let her know that he knew that she was the reason that Nikki was once again struggling with the bottle; he knew that she had been putting alcohol in the teas and other drinks that she prepared for Nikki. He knew that she wanted Nikki out of the way so her little plan to kill him would work.
At Solidarity House Nikki and low down Deacon are sharing a passionate kiss that gets hotter and moves to the bed. Although it is past visiting hours, Victor walks into Solidarity House and into Nikki’s room without knocking. Poker face Victor shows a bit of disgust finding Nikki and Deacon in the act. Deacon immediately dresses and Victor tells him he better split right away before he splits open his head and he may have meant the head below the belt. Catherine tells Victoria the news about Victor and Maggie’s nuptials and also of Maggie’s plot to kill her dad. Just as Deacon leaves Nikki’s room, Victoria arrives and sees him asking him what he is going there. Suddenly a staff person from Solidarity House appears and upon finding Deacon in Nikki’s room threatens to expel both of them from the sober program. Deacon pleads with the staffer to not expel Nikki and that he will leave. By the way the staffer says nothing to Victor about being in Nikki’s room past the hour, Victor’s has clout like that.
When Nikki and Victor are alone Victor tells Nikki that he really is not married to Maggie that it was all a plan to unveil her devious plot to kill, marry, murder and live magnificently off his money. Nikki seems surprise and relieve that it was not her weakness that led her to drink but the chemistry of the alcohol that Maggie fed her. Nikki then realizes that her betrayal of Victor and her roll in the sack with Deacon was a mistake. She blames it on the alcohol but Victor is not buying or forgiving that excuse and tells her they are through and that he will never touch her again.
As Victor leaves, Victoria enters to console her mother. Victoria at first questions Nikki’s judgment in sleeping with Deacon reminding her of what happened between she and Deacon. In soap opera land, mothers sleep with their daughter’s lovers, husbands and vice versa.
Nikki gets his final divorce papers just as Phyllis arrives to pick up Summer. Jack asks Diane if he can see Kyle and Diane refuses. She leaves Kyle with a babysitter as she leaves for New York for a job interview. While surfing the Internet, Kyle sees the Restless Style article that Phyllis wrote about his mother. Upset by what he reads, Kyle ditches the babysitter and goes to see Jack. Upon arriving Kyle is upset to see Phyllis but asks Jack is the stuff about his mother true. Jack diplomatically does not answer the questions but tells Kyle that he and his mother will sit down with him one day and talk about the article. Kyle and Summer want to hang out together but Kyle wants nothing to do with Phyllis so she and Summer leave so that Kyle and Jack can spend some time together. At Nicks’ Sharon, Nick and Faith spend an evening together reflecting on their lives and Nick’s new freedom.
Heather arrives at Catherine and tells everyone that Maggie has been booked for her plot to kill Victor. Murphy arrives back and home and while sitting in his wheelchair next to Catherine he tells her “I love you old girl”. Ronan, Heather and Nina are all ecstatic to hear Murphy speak again. Something is going on with Ronan, he leaves the room to go outside and it seems as though he popped some pills. I wonder if Ronan has some kind of illness that he has not shared with anyone.
At the airport Diane has missed her commercial flight to New York for her interview. Victor waiting there for his plane to be readied to takeoff for an undecided destination offers to fly Diane to New York. Will Victor and Diane hit take a roll in the sky on his private jet; will he get with Diane just to get back at Nikki? Next on the Young and the Restless…………
