The flu vaccine is not a popular choice to receive. According to Consumers Reports, a new study has shown that fewer people this year are going to get the shot. Among those who responded 31% are uncertain if they will get the new three-in one vaccine. The reason mainly is due to raising concerns about the safety and the effectiveness.
Canada has just released its report from their statistics showing that 60% of Canadians and 80% of Americans simply refused to get the H1N1 vaccine last year despite the coverage of media and government advocating for months to get the shot. This year, regardless of their massive advocating for the shot most people are still against to receiving any type of influenza shots.
Based on the surveys results, 44% of people who are against the shot noted concerns about its safety. There is validity to these concerns regarding severe neurological problems in which these shots have been noted to produce. Forty-one percent had shown concern of the overall safety and 45% stated that last years predicted swine flu epidemic was overly inflated and more than likely the shot is not needed.
Drug retailer CVS conducted a survey with results showing that two-thirds of respondents stated regardless of the fact the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is currently suggesting everyone over six months obtain the shot, this does not effect peoples decisions about the shot. Most people are just simply not holding any value to the recommendation.
Currently there is no evidence to support any sound reasons on getting the vaccine. No evidence so far has been given to prove that these vaccines are even effective. The do contain toxic additives which have the ability to produce severe health issues. Vitamin D is still being highly recommended along with supplements and those super foods which boost the immune system. Many alternatives such as herbs have been proven to prevent flu or ease and decrease the duration of the illness.
Valid reasons to not receive the vaccine
Currently there is no evidence to prove these shots are even effective. They only aide to guard against certain flu strains, they have no impact on the bird flu.
Many vaccines including the influenza vaccine contain mercury. Mercury is a health compromising heavy metal with serious effects upon health. The vaccine contains Thimerosal which is produced with mercury.
The three-in-one shots have 250 times more mercury than what is classified legally as hazardous waste. The adverse reactions to mercury toxicity are broad and include memory loss, ADD, digestive disorders and cardiovascular issues along with respiratory problems.
The vaccines for the flu also contain antibiotics like those of neomycin which are put in the vaccine in order to eliminate stray bacteria found in the combination. Evidence has proven that these antibiotics eliminate the good bacteria needed for health. They decrease the immune system and produce overgrowth of Candida.
The vaccines also contain Polysorbate 80 used as an emulsifier. It is an extremely toxic agent which can greatly decrease the immune system which then causes anaphylactic shock which can lead to death.
There has been mounting evidence that flu shots cause Alzheimer’s disease because of the aluminum and formaldehyde mixture that is added with mercury and are greatly toxic when mixed together. There has been some research studies that indicated persons who have the flu vaccine every year for a period of three to five years, have 10 times more the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease than persons who did not receive the shot.
The H1N1 vaccine which is part of this new influenza mix has raised concerns on its own. Three main concerns reported by Barbara Loe Fisher from the National Vaccine Information Center are as follows:
Gulliain-Barie syndrome has been associated to the influenza vaccine since 1976. Early in the year British government health officials have acknowledged this association and it does produce a high risk for GBS.
Bell’s Palsy reaction has been also noticed.
It is also a known fact that all influenza vaccines suppress the immune system taking even months for it to fully recover.
With all these side effects coming to light it is a major concern among Americans and the main staying reason as why so many are against receiving the vaccine.
