Speaking out for the first time in a long while, Tiger Woods broke his silence on the “Mike and Mike in the Morning” radio show on Thursday (November 18).
Tackling the topic of his infamous scandal, which ended in divorce from wife, Elin Nordegren, the pro golfer told, “If that didn’t happen I don’t think I’d be as blessed and as balanced as I am now. I take full responsibility for my actions.”
With Mike and Mike asking Tiger what he learned from the whole experience, Tiger responded, “[I learned] who I was and where I needed to go. I wasn’t the person that my mom and dad raised me to be and I knew that.”
Having recently joined the Twitter world, Woods explained that he wishes to connect with the fans who have stayed positive and supported him over the past year.
Rachel Uchitel, the mistress at the center of Tiger’s cheating scandal, had stayed silent up until now, recently sharing her regret.
The infamous mistress told press, “I will never, ever do that again” when asked if she had any regrets about getting involved with a married man.
In addition to her problem with abusing prescription pills, Rachel said she also struggles with what her therapists are calling ‘love addiction.’
Ms. Uchitel explained, “People don’t really understand love addiction. But I think a lot of people will relate to it.”
These days, Rachel is getting her master’s degree in psychology and looking into becoming a private detective. “It’s all part of me moving on with my life and I figured I may as well do something career-wise that I have a flair for.”
