Ohio is an old state and so it has many things to do and see but on popular site in Toledo is the Toledo Museum of Art. The Toledo Museum of Art may not be one of the most famous art museums in the world but it is surprisingly good for a city the size of Toledo.
The Toledo Museum of Art is located at 2445 Monroe Street in Toledo Ohio. The Toledo Museum of Art is free for everyone but these is a $5 parking fee but you can park somewhere else or walk. While you may be able to see everything in the museum in a day you still want to come back again and again because they always are having new limited time exhibits. The nice thing about the Toledo Museum of Art is that unlike other art museums limited time exhibits do not cost extra and are also free.
The Toledo Museum of Art collection has some very popular artist for such a small art museum. So whenever you go you will be able to see some great art. They also feature some art that is not typical for an art museum but is very much in line with Ohio such as poster art from 60’s rock bands which would be right at home at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum also in Ohio. They have works from Picasso and Van Gogh to name a few. Another great thing about the Toledo Museum of Art is that unlike other museums it does not focus on any particular kind of art but looks at all kinds of art with a slight preference for popular works particularly the limited time exhibits.
The Toledo Museum of Art is a great place in Toledo. The museum seems a bit out of place for Toledo because you do not expect such a nice museum in Toledo even if it is small.
