Tony Hopfinger, an Alaska-based reporter, was handcuffed by private security guards working for Alaska Senate candidate, Joe Miller. Hopfinger gave the details to the Huffington Post. (Read here Tony Hopfinger, Reporter Detained By Joe Miller’s Security Guards Speaks Out About Ordeal).
Joe Miller has been very ‘sensitive’ about answering questions of his past. This is why Miller has thuggish personal security guards that can arrest the reporters wishing to ask him those questions.
As Hopfinger put it: “He [Joe Miller] somehow believes he shouldn’t be questioned about his background and yet he wants a job in six years, to a post where there are only 100 in the entire country, and we are not supposed to ask questions about anything of his past.”
I dare say there is too much entitlement and self-proclaimed prestige concerning American asshole politicians, such as Alaska’s Joe Miller. I find it extremely offensive, on behalf of Tony Hopfinger, that a reporter questioning a politician equals being handcuffed in a hallway.
But I don’t want to beat a dead horse. Or a live horse, for that manner.
Joe Miller, if you’re so defensive, you should simply move yourself into the astral realm and start working out your karmic debt now. Clearly, while you’re in the physical realm, you’re accumulating a multitude of future incarnations.
What I mean, without being too didactic, is that you, Joe Miller, are going to have to pay for being an asshole. And the sooner you get on it, the better. If you don’t know how to get to the next plane, the astral realm, then research it, and consider taking my advice.
I hate to sound like a crackpot, but that’s preferable to being a real American asshole.
