Have you ever been looking through the Apple App store on your i device and have not been able to find one? I have many times and I’ve decided to publish them here to give *hints* to all of those developers out there.
We’ll start off with a simple app idea that would greatly improve traveling. The app would have all the features you would want if you were taking a trip. Flight, traffic, and train delays all in one central app. More features like sight seeing, locations, and monuments in the area that you are in, with ratings from zero to five stars for the location. I would have local weather and simple deceptions to a destination as well.
The next app would be for that creative bunch out there. if you have an iPad and you wanted to draw for example a bird in the park that you saw. The app is a drawing app that would be easy to use, user friendly, uncomplicated, easy to use with your finger, and have a lot of features. It would be like Microsoft Paint but on your iPad and with more features.
My next app idea would be an easy to use, all-in-one note taking app. The features would include voice to text, multiple fonts, picture and video integration. The note taking part of the app would be laid out like an ebook reader display. This app would be great for the technologically advanced college student with that iPad that you get him or her for Christmas.
With my mom being a teacher and always helping her out with lesson plans and seeing how much of a hassle it would be the creation of a simple to use app that would get input from fellow teachers would have helped her out a lot more than I can. The features would range from an idea bay where teachers can submit good lesson plans and ideas for activities. Upon setup the user could select what kind of teacher they were, and it wouldn’t matter if they were a coach to an Algebra teacher for all grades. Other features would be an instant messaging feature, so teachers can let talk to other teachers, a grader as to help out with the grading of papers, and it would be easy to use.
Me being a nature fan, and knowing a ton of other nature fanatics, the invention of an app that would have a collaboration of species of animals, plants, and insects (which could be divided into three apps). The description would be the general information you could find on-line including pictures, names, and even the genus, etc.
Since I am an eighth grader and am in Algebra-1 I require the use of a graphing calculator. They do have apps for this, but are (most of time) pretty complicated. With the new app a simpler user interface would greatly increase the use of the app. Some new features like a y= input and a drawing mode would have helped me out a lot. More features based off of the TI-84 would be great for those students who cant afford the one hundred dollars and up for a graphing calculator.
Have you ever used Groove Shark on your computer at home. If not, it’s like being able to request any song you want instantly from a selection of millions of songs. The only way to use Groove Shark is on your web enabled computer, but with the app you can listen to any song you want, anywhere, so you can be the life of the party or your own DJ.
If you’re a hair stylist you know that it can sometimes be a hassle to cut hair the customer wants it. And there is always the trouble of looking through the books with hundreds of pictures in them and taking valuable time. The app would have a gender selector, an age selector, and a Lent selector, narrowing the pictures down. The app would let fellow hair stylist to improve on the hair cut and add how to’s as well as photos.
What really just bothers me is the only app for the web. Safari is an alright browser but it can be improved on. The idea came to me while i was on Google Chrome. What if there was a browser on my iPhone that was like Google Chrome, sleek, fast running, great features, theme selectors, and possible flash installment. The browser would be lighting fast, just like the one on my pc.
And finally I would want a good error reporting app for your device. The app would be a centralized place for ALL of your Apple device problems, from your iPhone to that Mac in your office. The app would be descriptive in trying to help you fix the problem, it would allow you to submit the details to Apple and a representative would contact you with details on the problem. It would be apart of the central nervous system for error input for any I device.
Also I would be partial to a Yahoo app that would let me submit my articles through the contributor network.
And there you have it. Those are my top 10 (in no particular order) apps that I wish would be created.
