A few years ago my teeth began to go bad due to a calcium deficiency. I had insurance at the time but being the dental chicken that I am, I never went to the dentist. First word of advice, if you start having trouble with your teeth, please go to the dentist. I deeply regret not taking action. I waited until it was to late. I lost my insurance and now all my teeth have become a problem. I am having to save money to have them pulled and replaced with dentures. This brings me to why I am writing this article. I know at some point just about everyone has experienced tooth ache pain. After having to deal daily with less then perfect teeth I consider myself a bit of an expert on how to naturally alleviate toothache pain. I am going to share some of the top natural remedies I have found when dealing with annoying aching teeth.
1. A Hot Compress- This method is quick and easy to do and I have found it effective every time. Wet a wash cloth and then place it in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Then you can fold it up and place it directly on your jaw. The only down side to this is you have to rewarm the wash cloth every 20 minutes or so.
2. Whiskey- Let me be the first to say that I hate whiskey. I think it is absolutely disgusting. However, when it comes to toothache pain it gets the job done. If you swish a small amount of whiskey around the area of your pain it will work as a natural anthestetic.
3. Real Vanilla Extract- Apply some real vanilla extract directly to the tooth that is causing you the pain. This also will give you a natural numbing effect.
I know what it is like for your teeth to hurt so bad you are ready to bang your head against the wall. However, if you will try one of the above natural remedies you will be on the way to relief in no time at all.
