What would it mean to you to begin learning to play the piano, and see immediate results? Learning to play the piano is great for all ages. Research has revealed that we are all born with an aptitude for music, but that aptitude diminishes if it is not actively nurtured between the ages from birth to 9 years old. Also, it is at this time that children’s ears are most receptive to musical training.
With that said, I was eager to enroll my 5 year old daughter in beginning piano lessons, but I was interested in a reputable place in Ventur a County California where I live. After researching online for places that offer beginning piano lessons, I came across Children’s Music Academy. I found that they specialize in teaching beginning piano to children in a non-pressured, lively classroom setting. The piano classes are fun, fast paced and grouped according to age. The curriculum is carefully written, updated and focuses on age-appropriate activities. These activities are designed to develop lifelong musical appreciation and aptitude. Parents are allowed to attend class and engage in the piano lessons and learning activities with their children, offering a two-for-one learning experience. The piano classes are held once a week, and cost $80.00 a month with reduced rates for siblings.
Only after one year of enrollment at Children’s Music Academy, my child and I have learned music theory, rhythm and have had hands on experience on the keyboard. Already, my daughter can sit at the piano, find the appropriate key, place hands in position and play simple songs. I am very pleased with Children’s Music Academy, especially the instructor Miss Connie for the quality piano education she has provided for my child and I.
