It’s hard to find family friendly restaurants that have great, healthy food and can keep kids entertained while they gulp down something nutritious. Chuck-E-Cheese on 19805 Stevens Creek Blvd in Cupertino and Kid’s Castle on 35145 Newark Blvd provide entertainment, games combined with a great pizza, salad bar, and choice of soft drinks (and if you collect enough winning tickets, some freebies as well) ! At Chuck-E-Cheese, kids may also get to play with Chucky! What more could a kid want?
Both restaurants offer specials for hosting birthday parties, provide lots of coupons, and more. Chuck-E’s pizzas offer variety from Individual 6-slice to large 12-slice specialty or all meat pizzas with a large selection of toppings. Kid’s Castle pizzas range from Mini for $3.99 to Large for $14.99 starting with basic cheese working up to a large number of meat and veggie toppings. My kids here love the Hawaiian Pizza, Onion Rings, and chicken nuggets.
Other great restaurants that are very kid friendly and offer a menu that kids love are Pizz’A Chicago on 1576 Halford Ave, Chili’s Santa Clara on 3591 El Camino, and On The Border Milpitas on 260 Ranch Drive. Kids here will also receive crayons with a drawing activity. Also, it’s ok here to talk loud and make a little noise because the atmosphere here is very casual and relaxed! Best of all, there’s lots of food for those really hungry ones so bring a huge appetite. Free chips, unlimited queso, and online coupons also keep the cost down.
Chili’s serves my favorite appetizers, the southwestern eggrolls which are smoked chicken, black beans, corn, spinach, red peppers, and jalapeno jack cheese wrapped inside a flour tortilla served with avocado-ranch dipping sauce for just $7.69. At On The Border, I love their Grand Fajita Nachos for just $9.99. Both serve the best fajitas, guacamole, and soup/salad varieties. Kids will enjoy Chili’s French fries and burgers and taco combos at On the Border for less than $10. My kids love Pizz’A Chicago’s Air Jordan pizza with tomatoes, basil and garlic, as well as the Al Capone Pizza with spinach, onions and almonds. Small pizzas here are about $12.99 and large are up to $21.09.
The next time the family wants to eat out, and you’re bringing the kids, try one of the above restaurants for great food, relaxed atmosphere, and a fun-filled meal.
