Spoiler warning: Do not read this unless you have seen True Blood Season 3, Episode 11, Fresh Blood.
True Blood Season 3, Episode 11 (Fresh Blood) left us with a bunch of unanswered questions, some of which will be answered in the Season 3 finale that airs on September 12, 2010
Sookie – Will she ever completely trust Bill again or will she leave him for good like in the books? Will she be drawn to Eric? Or will she completely give up on vampires?
Fae – Will the fairies help Sookie?
Bill – Are his intentions toward Sookie completely good?
Eric – Will he die trying to kill Russell in the sunlight? Or will his protégé, Pam, Sookie, Bill or the Authority intervene?
Sam – Will he be able to control his anger and drinking? What will become of his relationship with Tara?
Tommy – What will become of his relationship with his brother, Sam, who has all but disowned him?
Lafayette – Does he have powers of his own? What is his relationship with Jesus going to mean?
Tara – Will she ever recover from her captivity with the crazy vampire, Franklin? Will she be able to forgive Jason and Andy for killing Eggs? What will become of her relationship with Sam?
Jason – What will he do once Tara confronts him about killing Eggs? What will become of his relationship with Crystal, the werepanther and her family of werepanthers, after he warns them about a drug raid? How will he deal with Kitch, the high school football jock who told him about the widespread use of V at Bon Temps High?
Andy Bellefleur – How will Tara confronting him about killing Eggs affect his job performance?
The Authority – What will they do about Russell?
Jessica and Hoyt – What will become of them with their newly rekindled relationship?
Maxine – Will she do anything drastic to get Hoyt back from Jessica?
Arlene – What will become of her baby and will her dreams of René get worse or better? What of Holly’s Wiccan treatment? Will Lafayette play any part in her life after his morbid visions of Rene strangling her? Will Terry play a large role in the baby’s birth since it’s not his?
Rene Lenier – Will this Season 1 villain return from the dead to visit Bon Temps and probably give Arlene a visit for their baby?
Alcide – Where did this werewolf disappear to and will he be returning?
Sophie-Anne – Will she learn of Sookie’s fae blood? Could Bill betray Sookie to the Queen?
The Season 3 finale, Episode 12, titled Evil is Going On, will undoubtedly answer some of these questions and leave us with more unanswered questions to drive us crazy until next season.
The official description from HBO for the Season 3 finale is as follows: “Eric grapples with his conscience while plotting his perfect revenge against Russell. Fed up with being “vampire crack,” Sookie considers a new life without Bill–or any other vampire. Tara discovers some surprising news about Sam, whose rage resurfaces upon learning of Tommy’s latest transgression. Jason finds a new calling after warning Crystal’s family about an impending drug raid. Plagued by visions, Lafayette turns to Jesus for help, and learns his boyfriend has more to offer than companionship. Hoyt hopes for a future with Jessica, spurning Maxine’s pleas to wed Summer.”
Who will live and who will meet their demise during Season 3 finale? The following characters are confirmed to appear in season 4: Sookie, Eric, Bill, Sam, Tara, Jason, Lafayette, Pam, Alcide, Terry, Arlene, Jessica, Jesus, Tommy, Holly, Crystal and Russell.
