The best episodes of “Two and a Half Men” always begin with a simple unassuming premise but tend to go down a complicated downhill path quickly. One “Two and a Half Men” episode may feature Charlie Harper hiding one girlfriend from the other or young Jake Harper trying to manipulate his Uncle Charlie or father Alan Harper. All usually take the same snowball trajectory that leads to hilarious circumstances.

Charlie arranges a date with Mia hoping to close the deal on their two month relationship. In the same episode Kandi, Charlie’s ex girlfriend, pops up and Alan begins to date her as he becomes the next best available Harper. The episode includes every possible scenario for Charlie to not consummate the relationship which of course leads to some of the most hilarious moments.
“An Old Flame With a New Wick” Season 1 Episode 18 Aired (3/1/2004)
Charlie learns his ex girlfriend Jill has undergone a sex change and is named Bill but that is not the worst of it. He then learns that Bill is now dating his mother Evelyn. The exchange that results in the episodes title is one of the funniest exchanges ever in “Two and a Half Men.”
Berta: “Nothing exciting happening in your world, Charlie?”
Charlie: “Like what?”
Berta: “Oh… I don’t know. Go to a fun party, see a great movie, run into an old flame with a new wick?”
“Pilot Episode” Season 1 Episode 1 Aired (9/22/2003)
Single man Charlie Harper lives alone until his brother Alan Harper gets a divorce and needs a place to stay with his young son Jake. The pilot episode not only lays the foundation for years to come it sets the tone and sharp dialog from day one of the shows history. Charlie’s single lifestyle makes Alan consider staying elsewhere but after observing the interactions between his brother Charlie and his son Jake, Alan reconsiders and decides to stick it out.
“It’s Mame, Mom” Season 2 Episode 18 Aired (3/7/2005)
Charlie attempts to impress a new advertising executive Eric (who happens to be gay) by enrolling his brother Alan to portray his life partner at a party given by Eric. At the party Charlie encounters Eric’s ex-wife and becomes enamored with her. Alan and Charlie argue over who should be the man in the relationship which leads to some hilarious exchanges.
“She’ll Still Be Dead at Halftime” Season 6 Episode 16 Aired (3/2/2009)
Charlie becomes jealous when he learns his girlfriend Chelsea will be sleeping over at her ex-husband’s house while attending her former mother-in-law’s funeral. The night Chelsea is away, a wild ex girlfriend of Charlie’s shows up, drunk and in the mood.
Once a jealous Charlie gets the girl in bed he cannot go through with it and she passes out. With girlfriend Chelsea en route to the house unexpectedly, Charlie labors removing the half naked women from the house. He then employs Jake and Alan to help him remove the evidence before Chelsea walks in the door.
