Thanksgiving Turkey Butter
You first start with a stick of butter that you will make into your Thanksgiving turkey. Leave it out and let soften. Not all the way to room temperature, just enough so that you can start to form it. You will need a butter knife, a toothpick, two black peppercorn seeds, a butter tray, plastic wrap, and some red food dye.
Take the stick of butter and cut into three pieces, two will be a 1/4 stick each, and one will be a 1/2 of a stick. Place the 1/2 of a stick on the butter tray, this will be the body of the turkey. Basically use your fingers and mold this into a ball. Take one of the 1/4 sticks and this first one will be the head. Place it on the turkey body where the head should be and mold it into a head with a beak and the neck. Blend it into the body. Take the other 1/4 stick and use this for the tail feathers. Place it on the back side of the body and mold it into a fan that will be the tail feathers. Now use the toothpick to scrape all over the Thanksgiving turkey to give it feather details everywhere. Place the two peppercorn seeds for the eyes. Take the toothpick and dip it into the red food dye to color the neck. Lightly place plastic wrap over the turkey and put it back into the fridge to until it is ready to serve.
Enjoy your special Thanksgiving treat! And yes, someone will be the first one to cut into it for Thanksgiving. Enjoy and make your Thanksgiving special this year!
