Central Library has so many things going on that it can be difficult to keep track of everything you are interested in seeing. And so many, in fact, that we had to divide this list up into two separate days.
Here is part one of a list of some especially interesting events, seminars and classes that are coming up in the next few weeks at Central.
Philosophy Discussion Group – One Wednesday a month get together with some like minded thinkers and talk about thinking, rather than sitting at home thinking about thinking or worse, thinking about talking. Next session is Oct 27th, then Nov 30th; 2 pm.
Microsoft Word Class – If you aren’t feeling quite so philosophical and just want some practical skills, Central hosts one Word class every month; the next scheduled date is November 18th, then December 15th 2pm both days. A free class that can help you get comfortable with Word or learn some new tricks.
Creative Writing – Now that you have Word mastered, what are you going to write? Maybe philosophy, if you attended the first session. But if you didn’t, check out the Creative Writing class and practice your writing and typing skills. Practice doesn’t necessarily make perfect when it comes to creative writing, but it sure do help you sound more better. See you there! EVERY Thursday at 11am.
Stay tuned Tomorrow for Part II of The Amazing and Wonderous Programing of Central Library
