It is such a joy to see the green grass, and I especially love watching the different color flowers grow. It is so beautiful. When I go outside in the morning to water my garden, I look in the garden to see if I have grass and weed growing in that area. If I see any weed I pull it out, it makes my garden look ugly, and I don’t want the weed to overtake my garden.
As I was studying “Matthew 15:13: But He answered and said, “Every plant which my Heavenly Father has not planted will be rooted up.
Quickly, I went to the dictionary to look up the word rooted up and uproot.
From the Strong’s # 8327:
Uproot – a primitive root; to take out; root up.
And I said, Lord, everything that I have allowed to grow in my life that you did not plant, show me how to root it up. Sometime we allow things to go on in our life for years, it puts us in bondage, it kills our destiny, and we are afraid to live and scared to die. Why do we allow things to grow in our life like wild weed? It grows and chokes out the life that God has given us. Wild grass reminds me of a python snake, anything that it attacks; it chokes the life out of it.
We can turn this around. God has given us the power, and we have been delivered from the hands of the enemy. Why have we allowed things to planted in our life? And now some of the same things are attacking our families. Sometime we don’t know what to do. In addition, some of us are just tired.
On today, I pray that God will give us strength, to take back what the enemy has stolen from us. Whether it is ignorance or something we planted. It doesn’t have to grow. Here is an example of how the Lord instructed me to pray:
First, repent. Ask God to forgive you for anything, knowing and unknowing.
Secondly, make a list of things of things in your life need to be rooted up. Here is an example of how I prayed over some things in my life:
Father let everything that You did not plant in my life be rooted up. Let everything in my children that you did not plant be rooted up. Let the confidence of the enemy be rooted out. Job 18:14
Let any frustration, division, the cares of the world, sickness, rejection of jobs, lack, broken relationships in my family, and rebellion be rooted up. Lord, whatever you did not plant in my life is rooted up in Jesus name.
Thirdly, only say what God says:
Enlarge my heart so I can run the way of your commandments. Ps. 119:32
My mouth is enlarged over my enemies. 1Sam.2:1
The Lord shall increase me more and more, me and my children Ps. 115:14
Let my faith grow in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ. 2Peter 3:18
I will flourish like a palm tree and grow like a Cedar in Lebanon. Ps. 92:12
My children are taught of the Lord and great is their peace. Is.54:13
I bless my natural enemies, and I overcome evil with good. Matthew 5:44
Lord, You daily load me with benefits. Ps. 68:19
God celebrates and protect us. He gave His only begotten Son so that we may have life and have it more abundantly.
