Former 1968 Playboy Playmate Victoria Vetri who posed as Angela Dorian is charged with attempted murder of her boyfriend. Victoria Vetri was arrested Saturday night in connection with the shooting and bail is set at $1,000,000.
Before the shooting took place, the couple was arguing and Victoria Vetri grabbed a handgun and shot her boyfriend in the upper portion of his body. Victoria Vetri’s boyfriend is expected to survive from the gunshot wounds he sustained. Victoria Vetri shot her boyfriend and then help arrived and took him to the hospital.
Victoria Vetri initially told authorities her boyfriend had been shot by drug dealers. If Victoria Vetri is convicted of attempted murder, she could face life in prison.
Victoria Vetri is due in court November 1 for shooting her boyfriend. The shooting occurred in the couple’s home located on the 700 block of Hawthorn Avenue near Hollywood and Highland.
Victoria Vetri aka Angela Dorian not only made Playboy Playmate of the year in 1968 but also was in the April 1984 issue of men’s magazine topless. She also had a brief role in “Rosemary’s Baby” and in 1970 “When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth.”
In addition, Angela Dorian appeared in TV shows Star Trek, Mission Impossible and Batman.
Victoria Vetri was born a daughter of a restaurant owner and Broadway singer 66 years ago. Her boyfriend has not yet been identified to the public. The name will most likely come out November 1 when Angela Dorian goes to court if not sooner.
Playboy is the number one choice in men’s magazines. There are plenty of women who have posed for Playboy magazine and have come and gone. It certainly made Victoria Vetri known as Playboy’s Playmate in 1968 famous. Now Angela Dorian will be made famous again for shooting her boyfriend in the upper body.
