Model and reality show star Kim Kardashian decided to let everyone watch as she underwent botox injection procedures at her cosmetologist’s on this week’s episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” She also decided to take along her little sister Khloe for support. As those who watched the episode learned, Kim Kardashian got a little more than she bargained for — in more ways than one. While she was subjected to painful facial injections, Khloe was a very annoying and very vocal pain in her ass. And then there was unexpected bruising…
Kim Kardashian has been adamant over the years about never undergoing any type of plastic surgery. However, she has no problem with the botox procedure, which entails injections of botulinum toxin type A under the skin to stop nerve contractions in muscles that cause “aging” wrinkles. Telling the doctor that she had a “really high tolerance for pain,” the 29-year-old beauty readied herself for the anti-aging procedure.
As the injections proceeded, 26-year-old Khloe Kardashian kept up a running account of whatever unnerved her. One tiny needle injection followed another around the brunette’s eyes. Khloe told her older sister she was stupid for using botox. “This is disgusting. I hate needles!” she exclaimed at one point.
For every negative comment, Kim Kardashian had a “Shut up, Khloe” to render. It became a mantra.
After the procedure, Kim went to Beverly Hill’s restaurant Chaya. While there, her eyes became irritated, apparently the result of an allergic reaction to the botox injections. The irritation worsened to the point the reality star had to leave the restaurant. Her eyes began to bruise and she consulted a doctor.
“I’m never doing this again… at least not until I’m 40,” she told her family after finding out that the bruising was not an allergic but a natural reaction to the injections. A doctor assured her she was much too young to be undergoing the procedure and Kim told her family she would definitely wait a few years before doing it again.
Days before the botox show aired, more than two dozen naked never-before-seen pictures of Kim Kardashian were released to the Internet by Playboy through their Cyber Club. The pictures were out-takes from the photo session she did with Playboy in 2007. The December Playboy issue featuring her is among the biggest selling editions of the popular men’s magazine ever.
But if “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” had a “Stan moment,” such as the commentary section in Comedy Central’s “South Park,” Kim Kardashian would have solemnly stared into the camera and said, “I think I learned a couple of valuable things today. Never undergo a questionable — even if popularly accepted — medical procedure without knowing the possible ramifications and consequences of that procedure. And never take your squeamish, puerile, pain-in-the-ass sister along for moral support.”
Nothing like reality…
