With the Vikings sad 3-7 wins fans are left on edge for their come back next year, but what about Childress who was just fired after the recent loss of the game against the Packers. Will this be a good thing for the Vikings, or will this change ruin their chances of ever becoming the winning team again.
When Childress first became coach in 2005 I was very hopeful of his ability to lead his new team to victory. Of course, he did eventually stop being that new hope we saw, especially recently, and I think it is about time that someone new takes over and gives these talented men a new leader who will help them suceed in this sport which they are so good at.
Having heard of this new information from many news sources, and having seen their ever dwindling wins many fans may be seriously reconsidering purchasing the coming seasons ticket holders. Will the Vikings fans decide to give them another chance, hoping that they will get better with a new coach, or will they give up and find a new team to support?
Personally I will most likely buy the season ticket holders this season and give them another chance, as I believe that this change could be very good for them, especially if a new coach steps in and leads them in the right path.
Of course there is always the chance that new coach may not help the Vikings at all, but I am hoping that this will be a good thing for our favorite team, and not another bad decision.
Another question asked by devoted Vikings fans is “Will they take the first step in asking you to support them by winning the game against the Redskins on Sunday.” If they win this game, and do well during the rest of the season will their fans consider giving them another chance?
If the Vikings do once again return to their former glory, will we still be there supporting them? Or are they gone to far for their fans to continue being so loyal? Let’s just hope for their sake that they can get their game together and show us why we support them.
Before you decide to completely give up on the Vikings give into consideration that big changes may be in store for this team. The question is, where will you be going next year, supporting this recently losing team and regret it later if they make a come back, or will you give them another chance and eventually be glad you stuck with them like a supportive fan should.
