Webanswers is a site dedicated to paying members for asking questions and answers. Have you ever asked or answered a question on Yahoo Answers? Did you feel like you were doing work but not really reaping any rewards? This is what Webanswers is all about.
Webanswers operates by using Google Adsense to make money. They split the advertising income 60/40 to the user. When a user post a question or answers a question the ads that appear on the page are either the of the person who posted the question or the one who answered. The rate at which each is posted is based on the quality score of the users.
Quality score is determined by the quality of questions and answers a user submits. If a user submits answers that are only one line long, their quality score will drop. Other factors that drop your quality score are copy and pasting answers from other sites, bad grammar or misspelling words. Good quality scores can be achieved by giving long thoughtful answers that are original with good grammar and correct spelling.
The sign-up process for Webanswers is simple. Enter a few pieces of personal information, check that you agree to the terms and check your mail. Follow the confirmation link and you are ready to start posting. If you haven’t already, sign up for a Google Adsense account. Begin posting questions and answering other peoples questions. You need to get 10 questions asked or 2 awarded answers before you are allowed to enter your Google Adsense id. Once you ad your Google Adsense id you will start to make money from the site.
I find that asking questions is the better option to make money. Answering questions does help you make money, but most of my money comes from questions I have asked. Overall I do not find Webnanswers to be profitable enough to make it a daily routine. I spent several months working on Webanswers and worked my way up to an average of 3 to 5 dollars a day. But this did not justify the amount of time I spent to get there. As soon as I stopped asking and answering question I began to see my earnings drop. I still make a dollar or more a day on occasion but most days I might make 20 to 50 cents. Others on the site claim to make over 400 dollars a month. I find this hard to believe from my experience though.
