If you grew up watching Saved By The Bell, then you are probably aware that there were several incarnations of the show. One of the constants in most incarnations, though, was main character Zack Morris. In terms of the fictional story line, what ever happened to Zack Morris?
The role of Zack Morris was played by Mark-Paul Gosselaar who, unlike many former child stars, does not seem to mind being associated with his fictional persona. In fact, Gosselaar appeared on the Jimmy Fallon Show in 2009 as Zack Morris (i.e., pretending to be Zack Morris). Fallon, by the way, is trying to put together a reunion of the case of the original Saved By The Bell. [Source: Mark-Paul Gosselaar – Wikipedia. Zack was the scheming, manipulative, but likeable main character in Good Morning, Miss Bliss; Saved By The Bell; and Saved By The Bell: The College Years. He also appeared in one episode of Saved By The Bell: The New Class. As explained in The College Years, after graduating from high school Zack was accepted to Yale, but chose to go to Cal U so he could be classmates with his high school buddies. Will there be more to Zack’s story – a made-for-TV reunion show, perhaps? It seems inevitable. If not a movie, then surely we will at least see a reunion show (whether Jimmy Fallon hosts it or not). My brief web-surfing on this topic has made it obvious to me that there is plenty of latent demand for a rehash of Saved By The Bell. And, like the original series, I suspect the reunion show will cost almost nothing to make but draw plenty of viewers.
