Most folks list books on Uncle Henry’s by the box, which often equals pennies per book, if not completely free. Be careful though, as Uncle Henry’s also services New Hampshire, so know where the books are before you call.

Most of the public libraries in Maine hold book sales to raise money for the library and the community. This is also how the public libraries keep their selection current. There are often amazing deals at these book sales, and there is usually quite the selection of books.
Barnes And Noble as well as Mr Paperback often have a discounted book section in the front of the store. While the prices are higher, there is a greater selection of newer books at a substantial discount, sometimes as much as 50% off the cover price. This is a great way to pick up cookbooks, local books, health and wellness books as well as a host of other interests. Check this section regularly.
