The War on Terrorism began with a seemingly good cause but left us scratching our heads. At the conclusion of this lengthy war, the United States had not found Osama Bin Laden or weapons of mass destruction. The war has put our country so far into debt that our economy’s future is in question, as well as our children’s stability in the future. One thing is for sure, George W. Bush and Condoleezza Rice benefited greatly from the war, and we all know they’re not hurting in their pockets. After all, Condoleezza Rice has served on the board of the oil distributor Chevron, and George W Bush actually founded Arbusto Energy in the late 1970’s. Did you know that Salem Bin Laden (Osama Bin Laden’s older brother) actually invested $50,000 dollars into the start up of Arbusto Energy? Probably not but check your facts.
So as we know, both of our former politicians are also oil tycoons. Obviously Condoleezza and George W were already millionaires while in office, but in life, as you become more and more rich, your greed and want for more money only increases. Now what is a way that these two parties could become more rich. Maybe a war in the Middle East where the majority of the world’s oil is located. The benefits of justifying a war over terrorism and draining the Middle East of it’s oil supplies was a brilliant idea for Bush and Rice, as well as the rest of the elite class of oil tycoons affiliated with the two politicians. Millions and millions of barrels of Middle Eastern oil was ripped from the Middle Easterners while billions and billions of dollars of profit went into these people’s pockets.
I find it VERY shady that George W Bush has had close ties with the Bin Laden family since the 1970’s. I would get into my thoughts upon this subject deeper, but I am afraid of what could happen if I speak my mind. God knows we aren’t TRUELY guaranteed freedom of speech. Anyways, the War on Terrorism was solely aimed at destroying Al Qaeda and the Taliban, capturing Osama Bin Laden, and destroying all of our enemie’s weapons of mass destruction. At this very moment, Osama Bin Laden has never been close to being captured, we have found no trace of weapons of mass destruction, and the majority of Al Qaeda leaders and affiliates have been released from Guantanamo Bay on Barack Obama’s orders. Since their release from Guantanamo Bay, it has been reported that more than 75% of these terrorists have returned to Al Qaeda.
With this being said, would it be safe to say that the War on Terrorism could have had a different aim? If you think I’m crazy, open your mind, check your facts, and actually analyze the entire situation without a government inflicted blind fold over your eyes.
