Last night at Survivor Series John Cena did the honorable thing by calling the match between WWE Champion Randy Orton and Wade Barrett right down the middle. However, this could cost John Cena his career. Going into the match Barrett told Cena that if Barrett’s hand was raised in victory, Cena would be allowed to leave Nexus. If Barrett’s hand was not raised in victory, Cena would be fired. Now that Cena has gone against Barrett, will Barrett actually fire him?
If you really there is no reason for Barrett to keep Cena in Nexus. If he does not go through with the firing and keeps Cena in Nexus, Barrett has nothing to hold over Cena’s head if he does not obey him. Therefore, Cena would be able to disobey Barrett as much as he likes without any consequences. For that reasoning I think Barrett will fire Cena.
Even though I think Barrett will fire Cena tonight on Raw, I don’t see Cena leaving the WWE. Since Cena did what was right at Survivor Series I think the Raw General Manager (GM) will give Cena a chance to earn his job back. This will most likely happen by facing Wade Barrett one on one. If Barrett wins Cena gets fired. If Cena wins he gets to stay in the WWE. Of course we all know that Cena would win the match and remaining in the WWE.
Tune into Monday Night Raw tonight to see if my prediction on what happens to John Cena is correct.
